VAPI AI Agent Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy AI-powered voice-driven sales agents using Voice API (VAPI) technology and associated conversational AI platforms.
- Build and optimize AI models for use cases such as lead qualification, customer engagement, appointment setting, product information delivery, and handling inquiries.
- Integrate AI Sales Agents with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM) and third-party APIs to ensure seamless data synchronization and workflow.
- Develop connections between VAPI endpoints and internal/external services to optimize data flow and operational effectiveness.
- Leverage NLP frameworks (Dialogflow, Rasa, GPT APIs) to create intelligent and contextually aware dialogue flows.
- Train NLP models on domain-specific datasets to enhance accuracy in language understanding, intent detection, and response generation.
- Implement machine learning techniques and A/B testing protocols to iteratively improve performance and user engagement metrics.
- Design, document, and deploy APIs for seamless interaction between voice interfaces, business logic, and third-party tools.
- Utilize REST, GraphQL, or other relevant APIs to support integrations, data retrieval, and transaction processing.
- Collaborate with UX designers to ensure intuitive and effective user interactions.
- Ensure voice and AI applications adhere to data protection and privacy regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define and prioritize features and technical enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++ for AI development and integration tasks.
- Experience building, managing, or integrating AI voice systems using voice technologies and VAPI
providers (Twilio, Google Voice, Amazon Connect).
- Strong familiarity with NLP frameworks like Dialogflow, Rasa, GPT (OpenAI API), IBM Watson, or other conversational AI engines.
- Proven experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Familiarity with cloud-based AI deployments, serverless compute, containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Direct experience integrating AI or voice assistants with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or custom CRMs) or marketing automation platforms.
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or other data exchange mechanisms.
- Experience designing, developing, and testing ML models to optimize performance and user engagement in voice agents.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related technical disciplines (or equivalent work experience).
- Advanced certifications in machine learning, AI, NLP, or voice assistant technologies.
- Prior experience in implementing AI solutions for sales enablement, customer service automation, or voice-driven applications.
