Travel Business Analyst

About this Position: You will be BA for Travel domain who will be SPOC between Clients & technical teams. You will help in Product designing & its implementation & demonstrate expertise of travel domain

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to review other documents, test cases, and test plans.
  • Evaluate business requirements submitted by Product Management.
  • Collaborate with development and other stakeholders to assess requirements.
  • Anticipate and address risks, gaps, and concerns.
  • In addition to functional expertise, demonstrate an inclination toward technical understanding.
  • Willingness to acquire proficiency in new tools and technologies.
  • Provide accurate sizing estimates for new requirements promptly.
  • Review change requests and manage the Product Backlog.
  • Proactively support product maintenance.
  • Coordinate and communicate business needs and priorities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Create, manage, and execute functional specifications.
  • Conduct functional walk-throughs with the Development team and Product Management.
  • Interact and communicate with Product Management for any product/project needs.
  • Engage with customers during functional specification, testing, and initial implementation phases, as necessary.

Functional Analyst Skillset
• Demonstrate extensive functional knowledge of managed products and projects.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive learning approach.
• Serve as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for assigned activities.
• Identify and pre emptively address risks, devising mitigation strategies in advance.
• Regularly update and engage stakeholders with timely project/product status reports.
• Collaborate with technical teams in solution design activities.
• Analyse processes and ascertain areas for process improvement.
• Proficiently manage critical situations, driving them towards result.
• Translate requirements into relevant documents such as Functional Specifications Reports (FSR), Use Cases, and High-Level Sequence Diagrams.
• Possess excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Investigate and troubleshoot defects reported by customers, ensuring adherence to specifications and system integrity.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Root Cause Analysis, Gap Analysis, and Impact Analysis.

Technical Skillset
• Foundation in Basic, UML, XML, REST, and JSON.
• Ability to formulate concepts.
• Effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
