Senior Software Engineer - Backend Telephony

• Innovative Software Development : Utilizecutting-edge software development tools to drive innovation, efficiency, and quality in the development of applications for a commercially hosted Asterisk platform. The primary focus of this position is to develop our product offering onto a Mobile/GSM platform and tie Speech Recognition engines into our Asterisk based call scripts.

Let s talk about your skills/expertise:

• Proficient in some or all of the following: C, C++, Python, TCP/UDP/IP ,SIP, RTP/RTCP
• 5+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems
• Proficient in application development for embedded Linux devices and media server development (VOIP or media streaming)
• Good understanding of MySQL
• Familiarity with open source VOIP platforms (such as Kamalio/OpenSER, Asterisk, Freeswitch)
• Familiarity with PSTN & GSM interface cards
• High Availability, scalability, redundancy and security of service infrastructure
• Be accustomed to ISO procedures for development, change control and information management
• Some exposure to scripting languages like Perl, PHP
• Good understanding of Call control, VOIP deployment issues
• Good awareness of networking and analysing SIP traces
• Ability to work on different codebases, and frameworks
• Cloud computing awareness
• Strong analytical, design, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and customer focus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Advanced programming skills with a willingness to learn new technologies in all parts of the stack
