Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Cyara, you will learn and apply basic software engineering principles and techniques. You will participate in team meetings, write simple code, fix straightforward bugs, and assist more experienced engineers in their tasks. This role is designed to help you gain practical

experience and build a strong foundation in software development.

You will be responsible for

Basic Development Tasks: Perform basic software development tasks, including writing simple code and fixing straightforward bugs.
Learning and Development: Learn and apply fundamental software engineering principles and techniques.
Support Senior Engineers: Assist more experienced engineers with their tasks, gaining practical experience and knowledge.
Participate in Team Meetings: Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews, learning from feedback and guidance.
Documentation Support: Help in documenting software components and development processes.
Agile Learning: Engage in Agile team activities, learning the processes and contributing as needed.`

Let s talk about your skills/expertise:

Learns to use professional concepts, applies knowledge acquired through education.
Begins to understand the software development lifecycle and coding standards.
Works on problems of limited scope following standard practices and procedures.
Develops problem-solving skills and learns from feedback and guidance.
Develops stable working relationships, works effectively within a team, and contributes to team success.
Learns to communicate effectively within the team.
Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree.
Bachelor s degree in progress or completed.
Demonstrates enthusiasm for learning and developing software engineering skills.

Back-End

Microservices Architecture: Experience in building scalable applications using microservice architecture.
Node JS Framework Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Node framework,
Experience in Mongo DB design, development, and optimization.
Experience with Influx DB will be an advantage.
Advantageous to have previous experience in designing and implementing event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
Concurrent and Parallel Programming: Solid understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and event-driven architecture.
Web sockets, WebRTC and Kong service experience.
Experience with writing a Unit tests for backend applications.

Front-End

Strong JavaScript knowledge with mandatory React experience
React Projects: Proven experience in creating projects from scratch, maintaining, and extending existing ones using react-app.
State Management: Strong experience in using React hooks for state management, context providers, refs, and callback functions.
Typescript: Good command in writing and understanding *.tsx code, configuring and managing ts config files.
Front-End Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS; experience with preprocessors would be a plus.
Styling: Proficiency in dynamic styling and experience building projects with Webpack.
Material UI Library: Experience with Material UI Library and its API, including the ability to create reusable components.
Netlify: Experience with Netlify is optional but considered a plus, mainly for the creation and deployment of sites and functions.

AWS

Introductory knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
Basic awareness of AWS services such as Fargate, Kubernetes, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk.
Initial exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Buildkite, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
