What we're Looking For
The Digital Content Developer will collaborate with the Education and Digital Content (Documentation) teams to research and develop a cohesive, digital content library for Cyara s customers, partners and partners. This content includes but is not limited to Cyara s installation, API and User guides, instructor-led and self-paced technical training courses
Experience:
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to demonstrate previous experience in technical/documentation writing with the following skills:
Minimum 3 years commercial experience in technical writing and video production to develop support and training content (experience with all preferred);
Excellent English written and verbal skills and the ability to write clear and concise technical content that can be understood by a globally diverse audience.
An eye for detail and grammatical correctness with a knack for picking up industry terminology.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to work individually and as part of a team;
Ability to elicit and elaborate information from various internal departments and external sources as necessary.
Ability to grasp complex concepts, review materials, complete writing assignments and recommend revisions according to set standards regarding order, clarity, style, and terminology.
Experience with authoring tools such as oXygen XML, XMetal, Madcap, Articulate 360 or similar;
Experience with video production software such as Camtasia, Adobe Premier Pro or similar.
Knowledge of DITA framework and code management systems (GIT);
Experience working with XML, JSON, HTML, Markdown and SCORM
Familiarity with systems and tools like Jira, Zendesk, and Adobe products such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Responsibilities:
Developing a moderate level of technical familiarity with the companys products through completing internal training courses
Researching, verifying, maintaining and creating content, including but not limited to: User Guides, Deployment Guides, API references, Release Notes and technical whitepapers.
Collaborating with the Education team to assist in maintaining and updating training course content in both written, eLearning (SCORM) and video format.
Collaborating with the Engineering team to stay abreast of upcoming features.
Editing contributions provided by Engineering to produce unified and consistent support documents adhering to a set style guide.
Monitoring and moderating community content posts in the community forum
