SAP Ariba Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to manage and implement SAP Ariba solutions, optimizing procurement and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SAP Ariba modules, integration with SAP ERP (ECC/S/4HANA), and strong functional and technical knowledge of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Implementation & Configuration :

- Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Ariba solutions.

- Configure and customize SAP Ariba modules, including Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Contracts, and Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP).

- Develop workflow approvals, catalog management, and guided buying configurations.

2. Procurement & Process Optimization :

- Collaborate with procurement teams to analyze business requirements and optimize source-to-pay (S2P) processes.

- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in procurement and supplier management.

- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and best practices.

3. Integration & Technical Support :

- Integrate SAP Ariba with SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) and third-party applications using SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), APIs, or middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, etc.).

- Work with SAP BASIS and IT teams to ensure seamless connectivity between Ariba and backend systems.

- Provide troubleshooting, enhancements, and technical support for SAP Ariba solutions.

4. Stakeholder Management & Training :

- Act as a liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring smooth adoption of SAP Ariba solutions.

- Conduct user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.

- Document functional and technical specifications, test scripts, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

1. Technical & Functional Expertise :

- 3+ years of experience in SAP Ariba implementation, configuration, and support.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Buying & Invoicing, Contracts, Sourcing, Supplier Management).

- Experience in SAP Ariba Network and Catalog Management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) for SAP ERP integration.

2. Procurement & Supply Chain Knowledge :

- Deep understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P), source-to-contract (S2C), and supplier management processes.

- Familiarity with purchasing policies, compliance, and contract lifecycle management.

3. Technical Tools & Integration Skills :

- Experience in Ariba APIs, Web Services, SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, or similar middleware.

- Knowledge of Ariba Guided Buying, Approval Workflows, and Custom Reports.

4. Soft Skills & Business Acumen :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
