Costing Lead (AGM) with Curateq Biologics, Hyderabad

Role & responsibilities

Cost Analysis & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost accounting systems and records.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, raw material costs, labor, and overhead to determine profitability.
• Prepare detailed cost reports for management and stakeholders.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Develop and monitor cost standards for biopharma products.
• Support strategic planning by providing cost and profitability projections.

1. Variance Analysis:

• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual costs against budgeted or standard costs.
• Investigate significant variances and recommend corrective actions.

1. Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation.
• Ensure proper costing of inventory, including work-in-progress and finished goods.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.

1. Compliance & Auditing:

• Ensure adherence to biopharma regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting and inventory.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify inefficiencies in cost accounting processes and implement improvements.
• Recommend cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies in the production process.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D teams to ensure alignment of cost data with operational realities.
• Partner with the finance team for accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

Prefers person from organization worked or aware of complete production/ actual Manufacturing flow in a Manufacturing / Pharma /Bio Pharma industry.
