1. A bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field 2. Previous experience working as a Linux Administrator 3. Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, LPIC, RHCA, RHCE, Red Hat Openshift Administration) will be viewed favourably
4. Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
5. Candidates should not have any arrears in their graduation.
6. Application must have at least 1 Red Hat Certification.
Linux Administrator Requirements & Skills
Extensive understanding of Linux, including RedHat, CentOS, and Debian Basic knowledge of Shell, Perl, andor Python scripting Thorough understanding of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP Understanding of VMWare and SAN administration and concepts Installs and configures Linux systems. Patching & Upgrade Linux system Linux system management ( resource addition CPU, memory & disk ) and perfomance management. Maintain and network performance monitoring of Linux systems. Monitor daily systems, evaluate the availability of all server resources and carry out all Linux server tasks Provide L1 and L2 level support and works on critical issues. Understands Linux best practices and engineering problem-solving skills to present options to target customer use cases Conducts regular health checks of the Linux environments and shares findings and recommendations with the customer. Establishes relationship with direct customer technical counterparts, and first-line or second-line customer management Document and operationalize Linux environment Develop standards on deployingmaintaining Linux VMs Ensure compliance on Linux systems Test all new software, maintain patches for management services, and conduct audits on all security procedures.
