CS Tech AI - C++ Developer - Unix (2-8 yrs)

Key responsibilities :

- Understand fundamental design principles and best practices for developing backend servers and web applications

- Gather requirements, scope functionality, estimate and translate those requirements into solutions

- Implement and integrate software features as per requirements

- Develop and enhance code applying C++, and participate in all phases of the development life cycle (design, coding, testing, release)

- Work in a product creation project and/or technology project with implementation or integration responsibilities

- Improve an existing code base, if required, and ability to read source code to understand data flow and origin

- Design effective data storage for the task at hand and know how to optimize query performance along the way

- Follow an agile methodology of development and delivery

- Update the logging system daily with accurate time and status of current work logs for development and incidents

- Accurately determine the time required to write/change software according to specifications and time required for developer unit testing

- Diagnose bugs and other issues in products

- Build prototypes, manage DevOps, and ensure UI/UX feasibility

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements :

- Strong experience with C++ programming and network programming.

- Familiarity with Linux systems is a plus.

- Strong proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms, and SOLID principles.

- Skilled in C++14, C++17, C++20, STL, and UI frameworks such as QT and MFC.

- Experience working with version control tools like GIT or SVN.

- Familiarity with multithreading and unit testing, particularly using Google Test
