Medical Coder

Job Description:

• Location - Ahmedabad
• Shift 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (IST)
• Working Days - Monday to Friday

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle the day-to-day operations of the Coding
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes for the patient charts
• Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise
• Collaborate with billing department to ensure all bills are satisfied in a timely manner
• Ensure 95% quality on production
• Adherence to the company's Coding Compliance policy/plan internal and External (clients)
• To improve the performance based on the feedback provided by the reporting manager

Required Skills:

• Must be proficient in both CPT/ HCPCS and ICD-10 Coding
• Should able to read providers handwritten notes
• Should be flexible to work on multiple specialties
• Should have experience working in both inpatient, surgical and outpatient E/M Coding
• Should have knowledge in Surgery, Gynecology & anesthesia coding
• Excellent in typing speed and accuracy
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• CPC Certified (Not Compulsory)
