Job Title: Business Development Associate

Reports To: Business Development Manager
Job Overview:
Crossbow is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to expanding our footprint in the cybersecurity consulting landscape, particularly in GRC standards such as PCI-DSS and ISO 27001. You will leverage your expertise to identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with potential and existing clients, and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Market Development
  • Identify and target potential clients across various sectors that require cybersecurity consulting services.
  • Develop a robust lead generation strategy through research, networking, and leveraging digital platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with our services and organizational goals.
    2. Client Relationship Management
    • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing concerns and providing solutions in a timely manner.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups to assess client satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.
      3. Proposal and Presentation Development
      • Collaborate closely with technical teams to create tailored proposals that effectively address client needs and align with Crossbow Cyberseccapabilities.
      • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders that clearly articulate the value of our services.
        4. Market Research and Analysis
        • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs.
        • Provide actionable insights to senior management based on market analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
          5. Sales Strategy Implementation
          • Assist in the formulation and execution of comprehensive sales strategies aimed at achieving organizational revenue targets.
          • Work in tandem with the marketing department to develop campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
            6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
            • Track and analyze sales metrics using Zoho CRM to assess performance against targets.
            • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and market trends.
              7. Collaboration and Teamwork
              • Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with consulting and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
              • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.
                8. Networking and Industry Engagement
                • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance Crossbow Cybersecpresence in the market.
                • Build strategic partnerships with industry organizations and associations to drive business growth.
                  9. Continuous Learning and Development
                  • Stay abreast of developments in the cybersecurity landscape, particularly GRC standards and regulatory changes.
                  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.


                    Requirements Qualifications:
                    • Experience: A minimum of 4-5 years in business development or sales, with a preference for experience in the cybersecurity or IT consulting sectors.
                    • Education: Bachelordegree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or similar) are a plus.
                    • Skills:
                      • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
                      • Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Zoho CRM) and accounting software (Zoho Books).
                      • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
                      • Proven negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in an accessible manner.
                        Working Conditions:
                        • This is a full-time position with opportunities for remote work as per company policy.
                        • Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
