Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Application Architect with extensive experience in AWS to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in cloud-native application development, a proven ability to guide cross-functional teams, and a hands-on approach to implementing architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture Design: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure application architectures using AWS services.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor development teams in adopting best practices for cloud-based architectures.
• Hands-On Development: Write, review, and optimize code to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to architecture standards.
• Cloud Expertise: Leverage AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS/EKS) to build cost-efficient and scalable solutions.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment and monitoring processes.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Security Compliance: Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in cloud-based architectures.

Required Skills and Experience:

Technical Expertise:

• 14+ years of experience in application design and development, including 5+ years in cloud-native application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (compute, storage, databases, networking, security, and serverless technologies).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, .NET, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and integration patterns.

Tools and Frameworks:

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.

Additional Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Developer, or similar).
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks and technologies is a plus.
• Experience with data engineering or AI/ML applications is a bonus.
