The DEI Specialist will be responsible for spearheading the development, design, and implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives both globally and with a focus on the APAC region. Collaborating with leaders, the People Team, Hiring Managers, and Talent Acquisition, this role will drive the DEI strategy primarily for the region and be involved in global DEI programs and projects. This role will foster a culture of inclusion and enhance diverse representation throughout the talent lifecycle. Reporting directly to the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Team Manager and under the Talent, Development, and DEI Department, with a strong partnership with the Regional People Director, this role will require working collaboratively with senior leaders to provide thought leadership and align strategic initiatives.
What You ll Do
Enhance Recruitment Processes:
Collaborate cross-functionally with the Talent Acquisition Team to refine recruitment processes, develop toolkits, and collateral, and monitor goal progress to ensure increased diversity in candidate pools.
Build Strategic Partnerships:
Identify and establish key strategic partnerships with external organizations, charities, and NGOs to enhance Criteos employment brand, expand channels for talent attraction, and explore program hiring opportunities to attract diverse talent in APAC.
Represent Criteo:
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Employer Brand teams to participate in external recruitment events and forums, where you will represent Criteo. This will help to strengthen our employer brand and create new channels for sourcing and attracting fresh talent.
Internal Program Development:
Create and implement internal programs supporting professional development to retain diverse talent in APAC. Focus on the growth and advancement of all employees, with a specific emphasis on minority groups. Explore sponsorship opportunities.
Partnership with DEI Organizations:
Work closely with external DEI organizations, establishing professional partnerships and exploring best practices.
Community Engagement:
Collaborate with Criteo Cares Leader, Community Leaders, and the Giving Committee to engage in community and volunteering activities, leveraging opportunities to link with programs and partnerships.
APAC overall stakeholder engagement
Develop an engagement strategy for stakeholders including key steps or actions required to drive understanding, buy-in, and support for DEI roadmap and priorities.
Identify Value-Adding Opportunities:
Utilize DEI expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities and develop APAC projects and programs aligned to DEI Priorities and APAC Business DEI levers.
Regular Impact Review:
Establish key success metrics and goals, conducting regular reviews to measure the impact of initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
Undertake additional responsibilities as required to contribute to the success of the DEI agenda.
Who You Are:
The candidate is expected to have had exposure to leading various Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs either in a dedicated role or as part of their responsibilities.
Proven experience in HR or Program management with a focus on developing and implementing programs that have a focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives
Proven success in managing multi-faceted programs with the ability to drive projects through to completion whilst managing stakeholder expectations
Strong understanding of the talent landscape specifically as it relates to diversity for the region.
Strong project management, teamwork, execution, and organizational skills - able to operationalize and scale programs
A strategic thinker who can operationalize opportunities into real actions
Creative and focused - able to take an idea through to concept and execution - using data and metrics to demonstrate success
Results focused and focused on driving solutions that meet key stakeholder expectations
