The GAC support encompasses research and analysis, complex data analytics and modelling assignments, risk, and regulatory services, and improving workflow efficiency. GAC acts like a centralized research and analytics hub for SPGI teams spread across US, EMEA and APAC regions.

Job Description:
Role:
- Access Control IBCOO Group has an opening for the position of a Senior Analyst Role. The selected individual will operationally support the Ratings line of Business within the In-Business Control Group.
- The individual will be responsible to conduct access control related activities, which includes but is not limited to periodic and non-periodic access reviews, Access Controls certifications, Key & Non-Key applications, transfers & leavers governance.
Functional Responsibility / Domain Related:
- Timely review of user access and remediation of discrepancies by undertaking necessary action steps.
- Analyze the data that are available in the system and share observations to required stakeholders.
- Performs independent research as needed to acquire understanding of the data.
- Strong trouble shooting ability; ability to perform RCA and taking corrective measures for the same
- Guiding analysts in reviewing and providing training and support in process and domain knowledge.
- Maintains adherence to strict deadlines.
- Maintains related records and files following internal procedures.
- Answers mail and/or telephone inquiries relating to the access.
- Ensure execution of Transfer, Leaver, and new Joiner processes.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing in support of changes made to relevant IT systems.
- Ability to balance effective operational execution with continuous improvement.
- Deliver support to process stakeholders (e.g. requestors, approvers, profile owners, IT application teams, etc.) in the form of formal training, subject matter expertise, and effective communications.
Client Management / Stakeholder Management:
- Ownership of all deliverables to client and be responsible for timeliness and quality of all tasks and activities delivered. Ensure top quality user/service experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with client counterparts.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with clients on guidance on tasks, progress of deliverables, issues/challenges in the smooth execution of tasks within timelines.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of data analysis.
- Problem-solving skills informed by deep and varied experience in forging solutions.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel required.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Python preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional demeanor, team player, ability to interface effectively with internal/external stakeholders.
- Diligent and intellectually curious self-starter with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
Essential Qualification:
- Bachelors degree with 3-7 years of experience or Masters degree with 1-3 years of experience in financial services, CFA preferred.
