Hard requirements:
- Senior backend engineer, capable of owning the backend portion of a project with minimal support or oversight
- Experience collaborating with non-backend expert counterparts (e.g. ML, data science)
- Experience working on data-intensive projects
- Basic reading and writing proficiency in Python
Strongly preferred:
- Intermediate reading and writing proficiency in Python
- Experience supporting iterative, experiment-based development efforts
- Basic familiarity with financial concepts
- Experience with S&P internal projects (e.g., with divisions)
