Site-Project Manager

Role Summary:

As part of the construction Project Team, your role will be pivotal in managing processes of a construction project and ensuring End-to End Project Management from concept development , strategy preparation, shortlisting of consultants, interaction with potential investor, etc.

Key Result Area:

• Be the anchor for all project coordination between stake holders, design team (Architects / Structural consultants / MEP consultants etc.), execution agencies and site.
• Undertake project planning and scheduling of activities and following up to get the activities done in time and as per needs.
• Ensuring coordination between all design consultants towards preparation of concept drawings, schematic drawings, working drawings etc. Ensuring that the design and final working drawings are in accordance with the consultant / architectural standards as well as statutory regulations / approvals.
• Responsible for budget tracking and proposing of specifications based upon input from design consultants. Helping the planning team with scheduling and project planning when needed.
• Responsible for supervision and quality control of drawings and design management.
• Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timelines.
• Ensuring the design process recognizes current legislation, standards, and codes of practice, and drawings in accordance with the statutory and regulatory building requirements.
• Be responsible for designing documentation as well as contracts related to the projects.
• Carry out meetings with the management and site team members and make presentations during team meetings.
• Assess drawings received from consultants and review along with other team members before execution.
• Timely prediction of resources. Planning of material requirements and ensuring availability in coordination with the procurement team.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve best possible quality standards in conformance to high EHS standards of the project. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress. Manage construction schedule and activities.
• Make MIS/ Project Progress Updates for senior management as well as for effective project controls.
• Understand, review, and prepare CAD drawings for the project as and when required.
• Provide necessary support to site and corporate office senior management in effective project tracking.

Candidate Profile Specifications:

Education: B.E. (Civil) / B. Arch., preferably with post-graduation in Project /Construction Management, from a premier institution.

Experience:

1-3 years of comprehensive experience of managing construction projects with good exposure to Civil, MEP building services and finishing & fit outs.

On-site experience is a must.

Skillset:

• Effective project execution to excellent standards of quality within defined parameters of time and cost
• Can manage contractors/vendors at site as part of day-to-day supervision of execution at site involving tracking of project progress as per schedule, cost, and
• quality control.
• Ensure implementation of EHS norms.
• Can handle issues pertaining to statutory clearances and their implementation at site
• Ability to define and maintain tight cost controls well documented contracts management.
• Should have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent AutoCAD drafting skills along with demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office, MS Projects, Adobe Photoshop, Google Sketchup.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation techniques.
• Open to frequent outstation travel.
• Strict adherence to deadlines.
• Confident personality and excellent communication skills verbal as well as written.
