Cresita Tech IT Solutions - Senior SAP ABAP Technical Consultant (5-7 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Technical Consultant to join our dynamic IT team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SAP ABAP solutions to meet the evolving business needs of our organization.

You will work closely with business users, functional consultants, and other IT professionals to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, Development & Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement complex SAP ABAP objects such as reports, interfaces, enhancements (BADIs, user exits), conversions, forms, and ALE/IDocs.

- Develop and maintain custom reports, data conversions, and interfaces using ABAP/4, ABAP Objects, and related technologies.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing of developed solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to SAP ABAP development.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficient in all aspects of ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, OOPs concepts, and performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of SAP data structures, tables, views, and database concepts.

- Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (BADIs, user exits, customer exits).

- Knowledge of ALE/IDoc interfaces, EDI, and web services.

- Experience with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP ABAP.

Project Involvement :

- Participate in all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live support.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Technical Documentation & Support :

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.

- Provide third-level support for production issues related to SAP ABAP development.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience : 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in ABAP/4, ABAP Objects, OOPs concepts, and related technologies.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP data structures, tables, views, and database concepts.

- Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (BADIs, user exits, customer exits).

- Knowledge of ALE/IDoc interfaces, EDI, and web services.

- Experience with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP ABAP.

- Experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway and OData services (preferred).
