Manager - Export (Africa)

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Development:
  
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in African markets for FMCG/FMCD products.
• Conduct market research to understand consumer needs, trends, and competitive landscape across different African regions.
• Client and Partner Management:
  
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the target regions.
• Collaborate with existing partners to enhance market penetration and revenue growth.
• Geographical Strategy:
  
• Leverage extensive geographical knowledge of Africa to craft region-specific strategies.
• Analyze economic, political, and cultural factors affecting business in the region.
• Sales and Revenue:
  
• Develop and achieve export sales targets for the African market.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports on market performance and business opportunities.
• Operational Excellence:
  
• Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, logistics, marketing) to ensure seamless delivery and execution of export strategies.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and export documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience:
  
• 8-12 years of proven experience in FMCG/FMCD exports, with a strong focus on African markets.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales growth in international markets.
• Extensive travel experience in Africa is a must.
• Knowledge:
  
• In-depth understanding of the African market dynamics, distribution networks, and consumer behavior.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and export procedures.

• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Education:
  
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred).
