Senior Engineer - Network & Security

Role & responsibilities

• Partners with Enterprise IT stakeholders to onboard, implement, and operate a secure corporate infrastructure.
• Establish and enforce network technology environment by onboarding IT Infrastructure, maintaining system configurations, documentation of system standards etc.
• Support and manage network of Switches, Wi-Fi, and LAN devices.
• Secure the environment by implementing and operating controls over Firewalls, DLP, Antivirus, Email Security Services, etc.
• Work closely to ensure that the network components are operating at optimal level.
• Provide infrastructure services vision, enables innovation, and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the companys requirements and expectations.
• Implementation of enterprise IT standards, network architecture and the IT operations governance process. Work with GRC function to support security audits and to close/remediate any audit findings.
• Conduct IT & security product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners.
• Work closely with and manage strategic vendor partner relationships, evaluate the SLAs, and monitor the overall delivery by vendors. Build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.
• Participate in the formulation of on-premises IT Architecture; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
• Hands-on problem-solving and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 or more years of related experience in IT network, infrastructure and security service implementation and operations for organizations.
• Strong IT background with a consistent record of delivering results, communication as well as critical thinking skills, creative and flexible problem solver.
• Strong people skills and the ability to interact strategically and confidently with internal partners to develop ideas, find opportunities, and influence outcomes.
• Ability to align complex architecture to business strategies and initiatives.
