Role Description :

This is a contract role for a Liferay Developer with 6+ years of experience. The role is located on-site in Bengaluru. The Liferay Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Liferay-based portals and applications.

- Implement customizations in Liferay, including themes, layouts, portlets, and extensions to meet client requirements.

- Integrate Liferay with other enterprise systems, applications, and third-party APIs.

- Develop and optimize server-side components, ensuring high performance and scalability.

- Leverage object-oriented programming principles to build clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Liferay applications.

- Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive solutions.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience with Liferay development, including custom theme and portlet development.

- Strong knowledge of server-side programming and frameworks.

- Proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, and other related technologies.

- Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web application architecture.

- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve technical challenges.

- Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration with team members.
