Placement Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Job Summary: The Placement Manager is responsible for overseeing the placement process for learners who have completed training programs, courses, or certifications. This role involves working closely with educational program participants, employers, and industry partners to facilitate job placements and enhance career development outcomes.

1. Placement Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance job placement rates for engineers and learners.
• Identify industry trends and job market demands to align educational programs with employment opportunities.
2. Candidate Support:
• Guide learners in resume building, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and group workshops to improve job readiness.
• Provide personalized career counselling and job placement assistance.
3. Employer Relations:
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and recruitment agencies.
• Develop partnerships with companies to create job placement opportunities and internships for learners.
• Organize and manage recruitment events, job fairs, and networking sessions.
4. Placement Process Management:
• Oversee the entire placement process from candidate application to job offer acceptance.
• Coordinate interviews, facilitate employer interactions, and ensure a smooth placement experience.
• Track placement outcomes and gather feedback from both employers and candidates.
5. Program Enhancement:
• Collaborate with educational content developers to ensure that training programs meet industry standards and employer needs.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve program effectiveness based on placement data and industry feedback.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
• Monitor and analyze placement metrics, including placement rates, employer satisfaction, and candidate success.
• Prepare regular reports on placement activities, trends, and outcomes for internal stakeholders.
7. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Ensure all placement activities adhere to relevant regulations and best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve placement services to ensure high-quality support for learners.
8. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with the educational and sales teams to align placement activities with program offerings and business objectives.
• Provide training and support to other team members involved in the placement process.
