Location - Coimbatore, Chennai, Pune.

Job Overview -
We are looking for a highly skilled Controls Engineer with a minimum year of experience in programming Siemens and Allen Bradley, Codesys PLC, drives and HMI. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing control systems that meet customer requirements in intralogistics and warehouse automation domain. The candidate must be willing to travel to customer sites for design approvals, installations, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties -

Design and develop PLC program for Conveyors, Stacker cranes and other warehouse automation products.
Install and commission of turnkey warehouse automation systems on customer sites.
Provide training and support to customers on how to operate and maintain the automated warehouse system.
Prepare technical documentation, including program specifications, checklists, test plans, and user manuals.
Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and technicians to design and implement control systems.
Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements.
Support for handover and closure of activities planned.
Submission of daily reports, project completion detailed report and checklist to reporting manager.
Adherence to KPI, Project scope and timelines.
Implementation of Poka-yoke, Kaizens, Cutting edge technologies.

Requirements -

Experience in the field of warehouse automation, Siemens PLC -STL, FB programming, SEW drives will be an advantage.
Testing of codes with simulation tools and methodologies with documentation.
Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text).
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems and communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA, S7- Comm, EtherCAT, CAN /S-bus).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Strong knowledge in basics of electrical and electronics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
