Costing Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and analyse commodity price and forex price data.
• Providing data,convincing, interacting and follow up with Customer price correction.
• Master maintenance and updating the commodity price data in Cost Management software.
• Follow up with customer and marketing to get the correct the PO amendment from customer.
• Gross Margin Analysis and identify the loss makers and corrective action.
• Turnover discount analysis and suggestions.
• Follow up with marketing for price recovery for identified actions.
• Making sales price provision for accounting and passing entries.
• Interacting with Unit Finance Managers for reviewing the raising and accounting of Supplementary invoices.
• Imports Accounting and making provision in account books every month.
• Analyze the import expenses and import cost movement.
• Review of freight allocation % in imports PO and support purchase department.
• Review of accounts payable - import.

Preferred candidate profile

2 - 5 years experience in product costing or controlling in automotive components industry
