MIS Reporting Role - FMCG - CA (1-3 yrs)

Job Purpose: This position involves overseeing the preparation of various reports and analyses, including monthly managerial reports, pulses profit review reports, financial statements, commodity profit and loss statements, forecasts, budgets, working capital reports, and position planning documents.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Job Summary: Financial statement preparation and MIS reporting:

- Generate comprehensive monthly managerial reports encompassing KPIs, financial metrics, and business trends

- Analyse and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

- Analyse variances and trends to understand the drivers of profitability

- Provide support for decision-making and resource allocation processes Plant review & cost analysis

- Overview of plant performance and review costing & yield

- Conduct in-depth analyses of pulses profitability, examining revenue streams, cost structures, margins, and factors affecting profitability

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement in the pulses segment

- Develop detailed commodity profit and loss statements to evaluate the performance of different product lines Budgeting, Forecasting & position planning

- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to validate assumptions and refine forecasts

- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets, incorporating input from department heads and senior management

- Track budget versus actual performance and provide variance analysis

- Preparation and analysis of position planning report on weekly basis

- Utilize historical data and statistical models to forecast future financial performance, including sales, expenses, and cash flow

- Work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives based on financial analyses and forecasts

Job Requirements: - CA with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience post CA

- Accounting & Management Reporting exposure in production, international trade and warehousing sector; exposure to agriculture commodity sector will be advantageous

- Ability to work independently with proficient communication skills
