Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee Corporate Finance in manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing treasury, working capital finance, vender and sales finance and equity finance. Additionally, you will drive consulting led client engagements and actively support /lead sales opportunities working closely with Infosys senior delivery managers, client engagement managers and sales teams. The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
The ideal person should have 6 to 10 years extensive domain consulting and/or industry experience.
Required Skillsets
1. Experience & expertise in one or more areas such as Corporate Finance, Working Capital, Vendor & Sales Finance, & Equity Finance.
2. Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, cash flow, working capital metrics, sales data, vendor performance, market trends, and investment opportunities to provide actionable insights.
3. Expertise in various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable, and precedent transactions.
4. Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with corporate financing.
5. Familiarity with financial software and tools such as Excel, SAP, treasury management systems and CRM systems for efficient data management, analysis, and reporting
6. Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in finance sectors like working capital, treasury and equity finance sectors.
7. Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
8. Skills in conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and market trends.
9. Skills in collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and find innovative solutions.
12. Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors and partners.
13. Ability to lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
14. Extensive experience in corporate finance and equity finance.
15. Ability to work with teams located across different geographies and time zones.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Work on client assignments, typically large digital transformation or AMS programs, as an individual contributor or as a domain leader.
2. Engage with client business and IT, and internal Infosys stakeholders throughout the phases of an IT program from planning through solutioning and implementing
3. Define business/process models considering Industry best for treasury operations and working capital and equity finance.
4. Work closely with project sponsors, lenders, and other stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide tailored financing solutions.
5. Prepare and present detailed reports on loan performance, risk assessments, and financial forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
6. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and economic conditions that may impact corporate lending.
7. Drive business workshops to define requirements and elaborate functional specifications of an IT solution.
8. Be a conduit between Infosys IT teams and client business stakeholders, during subsequent phases of the projects.
9. Be the Subject Matter Expert in end-end project finance and corporate lending for the client and IT team. Ability to drive transitions and transformations with client and vendor.
10. Contribute to account management strategy and unit strategy as required.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
12. Experience in working in a global environment with multiple locations
Qualifications
Skill sets requirement are as follows
1. Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
3. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
4. 6+ years of proven experience in corporate finance, preferably within the IT sector.
General Expectations
1. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills e.g. presentation to top management and report writing. Good experience in MS Visio, excel, Power point required.
2. Experience in facilitating meetings and drive discussions with senior customer executives, business users, and IT team members.
3. Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently an as part of a team.
