Qualification : Any Degree (Certification in AV technologies, IT, or electronics.)

Experience : 5 to 10 Years experience in managing the service and support of interactive flat panels or similar AV/IT equipment.

Job Summary:

The Interactive Flat Panel (IFP) Service Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of interactive flat panel displays across various locations. This role ensures that IFPs are functioning properly, troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and managing a team of technicians to ensure timely and effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and Maintenance Management:
  
• Oversee the installation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of interactive flat panel displays in classrooms, conference rooms, or other environments.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the IFPs, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices (e.g., speakers, cameras, microphones).
• Coordinate regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for all IFPs.
• Team Leadership and Support:
  
• Supervise and lead a team of technicians and support staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Provide training and development to team members on troubleshooting techniques, maintenance protocols, and best practices.
• Customer Support and Service:
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and end-users requiring assistance with IFPs.
• Resolve service issues, manage service tickets, and ensure timely resolution of any IFP-related concerns or malfunctions.
• Problem Resolution:
  
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to interactive flat panels.
• Liaise with vendors and manufacturers to resolve more complex technical issues.
• Provide solutions and recommendations for improving performance or efficiency.
• Inventory Management:
  
• Maintain an inventory of IFP equipment, spare parts, and accessories.
• Monitor the condition of existing devices and recommend replacements or upgrades as necessary.
• Reporting and Documentation:
  
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, service requests, and technical issues.
• Generate reports on service activities, including troubleshooting outcomes, system updates, and performance metrics.
• Project Management:
  
• Oversee the installation of new IFP systems, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage service-level agreements (SLAs) with clients or stakeholders, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Collaboration:
  
• Work with other departments, such as IT, AV, and facilities, to integrate IFPs into existing infrastructure.
• Provide input into product selection, upgrades, and system improvements.
