IT Engineer

• Performs technical duties and activities within prescribed time frames.
• Participates in projects to improve overall process and technical efficiency.
• Trains new personnel to standard operating procedures.
• Maintains and ensures confidentiality of information / materials.
• Takes initiative to identify and propose remedies to problems.
• Gives periodic status reports in written and verbal formats.
• Interacts with others at same level, and one level above, to ensure continuity and efficiency.
• Responsible for IT technical support at plant/location
• Will interact with all plant customers (business/manufacturing systems users)
• Will learn all IT systems (plant/division/corporate systems)
• Potential movement to higher level roles within plant.

Required Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of related IT experience
• Experience in plant environment.
• Experience working as a resource on projects.
• Plant build and/or Greenfield experience
• Prior work environment where problem solving abilities were critical for success.
• Ability work independently
