Job Description

1. Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure timely & accurate financial reporting per GAAP/IFRS.

- Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory compliance.

2. Accounting Operations:

- Manage GL, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.

- Supervise financial close processes & PL/BS schedules.

3. Internal Controls:

- Implement & monitor internal controls for data integrity.

- Conduct process reviews & recommend improvements.

4. Team Leadership:

- Lead & mentor the finance team for high performance.

- Collaborate cross-functionally for business decisions.

5. Process Optimization:

- Drive automation & efficiency in financial processes.

- Implement best practices for streamlined operations.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors & regulatory bodies.

- Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent professional qualification.

- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and controllership roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.

- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Experience working in a multinational environment, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.

- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho books).

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
