CoreLogic - Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Development (10-12 yrs)

Job Overview :

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire frontend development lifecycle, from initial design and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and 1 accessible web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of software engineering principles, a passion for clean code, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect, and responsive user interfaces.

- Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and accessibility.

- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability. Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements, develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior frontend developers.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies, trends, and best practices.

- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, contributing to innovative solutions and improvements to our frontend platform.

- Build accessible web applications that comply with accessibility guidelines (WCAG).

Required Skills :

- Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including ES6+ syntax, asynchronous programming, and DOM manipulation.

- Proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). Experience with React is highly preferred.

- Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors (e.g., Sass, Less).

- Experience with state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Vuex, MobX). Specify preferred state management if applicable.

- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).

- Proficient with Git and related workflows.

- Experience with build tools like Webpack, Parcel, or Rollup.

- A strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
