Finance Controller - Product Firm (7-10 yrs)

Finance Controller - US Product Company

Our client is USA based product company in India looking for Finance Controller

REQUIREMENTS:

- 7-10 years of Accounting experience, with 2+ years leading an accounting team (Controller, Acct Manager, Assistant Controller)

- Experience in a startup or rapidly growing business, with a fast-paced work environment and limited structure and order

- Someone who has a great understanding of the accounting close process and values timely reconciliations, detailed financial reviews and prides themselves on clean and accurate financial results. Looking for someone who has led this function but is not expecting big company formalities to be in place.

- Someone who exhibits strong leadership skills but is also quite willing and able to roll up their sleeves and help get the work done.

- Someone who values the ability to have a big impact on a business...this person will help bring structure and order to our accounting practices and help to transition the majority of the work internally from a third party firm.

- Ability to work independently and bring about change and is a problem solver by nature

- Strong understanding of intercompany transaction flow and elimination entries

- Good understanding of tax and compliance requirements

- Experience working with India, UK, Singapore and US financial entities is a plus.

- A track record of being able to make smart decisions regarding priorities and the materiality of issues

- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets

- Experience with Quickbooks and Netsuite preferred

TEAM & ROLE:

- Role will report directly to me (SVP Finance & Operations) in the US (EST time zone)

- Manage Accounting Team in Bangalore (currently Acct Mgr and Acct Associate)

- Work schedule is Hybrid (3 days minimum in Bangalore office)

- Required to work a later shift 3 days a week (at least first six months) in order to maximize overlap with US leader (12pm - 8pm)

- Salary: Based upon your experience in the market today, can you provide me with an adequate range based upon the requirements and experience I mention above?
