Finance Controller - Logistics Firm - CA (6-9 yrs)

Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage cash flows both with the internal as well as external stakeholders of the company

- Ensure timely collection of payments from brands and maintain robust control over the receivables process.

- Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive MIS reports related to receivables and collections.

- Collaborate with internal teams and brand representatives to streamline payment processes and resolve disputes promptly.

- Effectively communicate, resolve queries & disputes with the customers as well as the suppliers

- Take full responsibility for monitoring, following up, and securing collections to maintain healthy cash flow.

- Build systems to automate billing to the customers and payments to the suppliers

- Build reconciliation systems for cash, vendor payables and customer receivables to ensure accuracy

- Ensure the adoption of industry-leading accounting practices

- Provide real time visibility of the financial key performance indicators to drive effective decision making in terms of cash flows

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- A Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to cash handling and reconciliation processes

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial processes
