Engineer (Electrical / Electronics ) - Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Description of duties & activities

1. Machine / Equipment Maintenance

Maintenance of the following equipment:

1. 33 kV HT Vacuum Circuit Breakers and Line Switchgear
2. 33 kV HT Stepdown Transformer and associated Substation
3. Diesel Generator and Alternator
4. Air Compressor and Dryer
5. Biomass Furnace and Thermopack
6. Projection Welding Machines and CNC Machines
7. AC/DC Drives
8. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipment
9. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
10. Cooling Tower, AC Plant, and Water Pumping System
11. Ensure effective Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of critical machines
12. Oversee the maintenance of all PLC and SCADA systems, including backups
13. Conduct Root Cause Analysis for any downtime incidents
14. Collaborate as a team member for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 system compliance
15. Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during machine maintenance.

2. Spare Management

1. Ensure optimal min-max inventory levels for critical machine spares.
2. Maintain effective coordination with the procurement team for sourcing machine spares

3. Cost Reduction

1. Ensure effective management of the EnergyMonitoring System.
2. Coordinate cost-saving and energy reduction projects.

4.Plant Support

1. Provide plant support for product teams and address quality-related queries.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering.

2. Minimum 3 6 years’ experience in Maintenance field.

3. Should handle workmen category employee.

4. Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

5. Hands on PLC & SCADA system of Mitsubishis & Allen Bradley

6. Familiar with IOT technologies.
