Position Title: Senior Manager / Manager Sales & Business Development - Sea Exports

Location: East Of Kailash, New Delhi

We specialize in providing comprehensive logistics solutions, and we are expanding our team. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to focus on driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding our client base within the freight forwarding sector, particularly in Sea Exports. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Note:- Candidates from Freight Forwarding having credible experience should only apply.
Eligibility:

• Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / PGDM. Graduation in any stream.
• Experience: 10-15 years in freight forwarding sales and business development, with a strong focus on sea exports.

Key Requirements:

• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in sales and business development within the freight forwarding industry.
• Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, services, and industry trends, especially within sea exports.
• Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships.
• Client-Centric approach: Ability to provide tailored solutions for clients, ensuring maximum satisfaction and retention.
• Candidate should have some business in hand that, candidates who have handled exports of basmati rice will be given preference.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Generate New Business:

• Identify and target new potential clients in the sea exports segment.
• Cold-call, prospect, and build a pipeline of opportunities to drive business growth Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and retention.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.

Market Research & Strategy:

• Conduct thorough market research to understand current industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategies that align with market dynamics and customer demands.

Negotiation & Reporting:

• Lead the negotiation process for contracts, pricing agreements, and service terms, ensuring favorable conditions for both the company and clients.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management to ensure alignment with business goal.

Team Leadership & Networking:

• Mentor and guide the sales team, providing training and leadership to achieve set targets and KPIs.
• Represent Contrans Cargo Pvt. Ltd. at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the company’s brand and generate new leads.
