Description:
As a Senior Audit Associate, youll be performing various functions to ensure effective oversight of auditing duties in an organization.
Responsibilities:
• Plan effective auditing processes.
• Prepare financial statements and require disclosures in compliance with policy and
regulations.
• Analyse the annual financial reports and detect the accuracy and liabilities of
compliance.
• Identify and assess key risks and controls.
• Implement audit procedures that ensure appropriate audit evidence is obtained with an
emphasis on quality and adherence to applicable audit standards.
• Perform corporate audits to ensure compliance in financial and operational areas
• Conduct independent audit tests and ensure that they are timely and accurate.
• Develop ways to improve existing audit practices. • Design and execute tests for control effectiveness.
• Review of client audit records planning until completion, including review of financial
statements.
• Organise engagement meetings for planning and completion of projects with overseas
teams and client teams as required.
• Prepares board reports (as required), engagement letters and audit representation
letters; establishes and develops client relationships and with overseas performing
teams.
• Liaise in with the engagement leader on statutory audit sign offs.
• Contribute to projects as required.
Must Haves:
• Qualified CA/ACCA with minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audits..
• At least 2 years Statutory Audit experience in a professional accounting firm conducting
medium-sized audits.
• Big4 experience is a Plus.
• Ability to manage diverse clients and diverse sectors of business.
• Ability to effectively work as part of an international team.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, both verbal and written.
