The L3 Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure for VPN and Business Partner Access.
This includes overseeing VPN gateways, firewalls and loadbalancers, MS Guest Accounts, Site-to-Site tunnels, maintanance of BPAT portal, monitoring, backup and restore processes.
The role also involves performing hardware patching, configuring network infrastructure, handling 3rd level IT tickets, and coordinating with external partners.
You will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, setting of in the direction of DevOps and agile working.
In detail your tasks include:
Service Management: Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers, providing expert resolution and support.
Prepare changes to the environment and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Steer and coordinate with external partners to ensure seamless integration and support of network services.
Stakeholder Management: Assisting customers with process improvements, documentation, training and usability efforts
Network Management: Oversee and manage VPN gateways, firewalls, MS Guest Accounts, Site-to-Site tunnels, and custom-built software portals.
Conduct hardware patching and configuration of complex network infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and security.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Ensure and perform regular monitoring, backup and restore operations to ensure network stability and data integrity.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the Access services, including processes, procedures, and user guides.
Continuous Improvement: Performing feasibility studies and IT concepts, market research and vendor evaluations
