Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes based on client requirements.
Negotiation: Negotiate rates and terms with clients and vendors to achieve optimal pricing and service levels.
Collaboration: Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics solutions.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM system.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, including air, ocean, and ground freight.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
