Business Analyst (Insurance Industry Experience is a Must)

Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to assist our development & QA teams with product development.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams and areas like product backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospections.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams to ensure a clear understanding of design and functional requirements.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure successful delivery & product rollouts.
• Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements.
• Analyze and validate requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
• Create detailed specifications and use cases for development teams.
• Assist with functional testing to review/refine test plans and create more detailed test cases.
• Facilitate defect and issue resolution process providing requirements clarification.

Required Skills

• Experience with Insurance Industry is a MUST.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis.
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team and on complex projects.
• Experience with documenting business and functional requirements, business rules, User stories, EPICS, and the Product Backlog.
• Experience with developing wireframes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor content to audiences across clients, development team, and management. 
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar issues & project management tools.
