Software Engineer/Senior Engineer - DevOps

ABOUT ROLE : The Software Engineer - DevOps will be focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation. A key part of the role is championing infrastructure as code. DevOps Engineer will work closely with the Manager of Operations and DevOps to build, manage and automate our AWS infrastructure.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- 4+ years' Experience in managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architecture (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)

- Should have expertise in managing Linux servers and AWS Cloud.

- Strong experience in infrastructure design, solution, and implementation.

- Experience in design and build platforms in AWS public clouds.

- Must have knowledge of Infrastructure, Operating system, Middleware, and standard tools used in enterprise.

- Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools.

- Should Exhibit integration of multiple environments and applications using AWS Services. Strong experience design archive solution on AWS

- Strong experience in monitoring the AWS Infrastructure

- Strong experience in troubleshooting the Production Issues and ability to recover the Production Systems.

- Should exhibit experience of preparing HA and DR solutions

- Should be able to optimize and reduced the dependencies (loosely coupled) in target solution.

- Should have experience in implementing cloud infrastructure security.

- Should focus on automation and mentor the team to implement the same.

- Should maintain a strong relationship with an AWS Support Team.

- Should be very much hands-on determine the Cloud-based innovative.

- Should onboard and keep track of other SAAS based cloud offerings like SMS, EMAIL, Source Code Management, etc.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

- Experience with building Cloud Native Applications on AWS Stack and use of Services, like API Gateway, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS Cognito, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS, AWS Cloud watch etc.

- AWS Stack, EC2, VPC, Networking (VPC Gateway, Route 53, ELB), Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling, Security and IAM.

- Experience using DevOps stacks like Jenkins, Nexus, Chef, GitLab etc.

- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS technical and partner communities.

- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud- based production system.

- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

- Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.

- Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.

- System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

- Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.

- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.

- Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.

- Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

- Bachelor's degree / Master's degree (B. Tech / M. Tech)

- AWS Certification will be preferred
