Job Description :
Responsibilities :
- Cloud Architecture Design : Design and implement robust cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Cloud Strategy : Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Infrastructure Management & Optimization : Oversee cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Analyze current cloud usage and identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance resource utilization.
- Cloud Security : Establish and maintain security protocols for GCP resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Cost Management : Implement cost optimization strategies, including monitoring, rightsizing, and identifying underutilized resources.
- Team Collaboration : Work with development, operations, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
- IAM Management : Simplify and streamline Identity and Access Management policies, ensuring appropriate access control.
- Apigee Management : Optimize API management workflows and costs using Apigee or alternative platforms.
- Technology Leadership : Stay up to date with cloud technology advancements and provide recommendations to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.
- Disaster Recovery : Design and implement robust disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Best Practices : Stay up to date with GCP advancements and implement best practices for cloud operations.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on GCP.
- Professional certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or equivalent.
- Expertise in GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
- Hands-on experience with cost management and optimization tools like GCP Pricing Calculator and Billing Reports.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of API management and tools like Apigee.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud
- Professional Architect, or Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is preferred.
