Ab Initio Support-Consultant I

This position for a Abinitio Production Support which requires at least 2-4 years of hands on experience (L1 and L2) intools such as Abinitio, Graphical Development Environment (GDE), Enterprise Metadata Environment including aircommands (EME) , and data profiling, should have experience in Abinitio Production Support environment
2-4 years of UNIX scripting, job scheduling tool (ESP), Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience with fulldevelopment lifecycle from inception through implementation.
Troubleshooting, Programming, Organizational and Abstract Thinking Skills are a Must.
Good people(team player) skills.

Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated work experience with projects of complex scope
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours in order to coordinate with US based team
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field or a combination of related experience and education.
Good working knowledge of data warehouse and database design
Experience in Microsoft Office Products & Project Management experience is a plus.Key Responsibilities

• Be able to quickly analyze and understand technical designs based on code review and documentation.
• Should be able analyze the production issues and work on the issue along with understanding of ITIL process
• Work with onshore/offshore Production Support (PS) Team to analyze, develop and improve the schedules as well as produce accurate defect free code for multiple applications/projects.
• Independently review technical design documents including data mappings to debug production issues.
• Coordinate with onshore PS Team to improve, modify and implement the application to run efficiently within the nightly schedule window and meet changing business requirements.
• Create and update technical documentation.
• Participate in formal application transitions and review to understand the flow of the application.
• Be able to coordinate and work with multiple development teams, outside vendors and other support areas for making improvements.
• Assists/oversees production implementation according to the defined release schedules and maintenance of the production, QA and test environments.
• Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning, support of the existing applications, project coordination and prioritization.
