Senior Storage Specialist - Implementation & Configuration (7-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Implementation and Configuration : Deploy, configure, and optimize storage solutions, including storage arrays, SAN/NAS systems, and data protection solutions.

- Performance Tuning : Monitor and fine-tune storage systems to ensure optimal performance, capacity utilization, and reliability.

- Data Migration : Plan and execute data migration projects, including data replication and storage consolidation, while minimizing downtime and data loss.

- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve PURE storage-related issues, working closely with clients and support teams to ensure rapid problem resolution.

- Documentation : Create comprehensive documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.

- Security and Compliance : Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations for data storage and protection.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.

- Create Power Point presentations and present technical solutions to customers.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 4-6 Years of experience in IT Storage implementation services with 2 to 3 years of experience working on PURE Storage appliances

- Proven experience in designing and implementing leading storage solutions such as EMC, Hitachi, HP etc.

- Proficiency in storage management tools and technologies.

- Strong understanding of SAN and NAS protocols, including FC, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.

- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud storage (AWS, Azure) is a plus.

- Good understanding of IT Infra (Server / Storage / Networking) and IT Infrastructure services

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Certification on managing leading Storage solutions.
