In-House Legal Counsel Role - Consulting Firm (2-4 yrs)

Provide assistance with:

1. Managing equity investment transactions across different geographies including, India, US, Israel, SEA and Europe;

2. Drafting and analyzing investment agreements- Term Sheet, SSA, SHA, SPA and other legal documents and provide inputs to business team as well as external stakeholders as necessary;

3. Overseeing legal diligence and identifying critical issues, legal risks in a transaction;

4. In portfolio management, which includes analysing and processing corporate action, consent requests from portfolio companies;

5. Providing clarifications on corporate matters as well as legal jurisprudence to stakeholders within the organization;

6. Managing and implementing internal governance policies and monitor legal & regulatory compliance within the organization.

Requirements:

1. Exposure to investment transactions in US and/or Israel is beneficial but not essential.

2. Sound judgement and ability to analyze legal precedents and documents;

3. Good communication and drafting skills;

4. Ability to work with integrity and responsibility and assume ownership over assigned tasks;

5. Ability to communicate and negotiate with external parties (external counsel, portfolio companies, founders) as necessary
