Job Description for Edutech Outbound Sales Team Lead - Thane

Position: Outbound Sales Team Lead
Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Role Summary:
We are seeking an energetic, driven, and experienced Outbound Sales Team Lead to oversee our sales operations in the EdTech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading outbound sales teams, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets within the educational technology sector. The role involves managing a team of sales executives, ensuring high performance, setting goals, providing training, and working closely with other departments to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of outbound sales representatives.
    • Set clear sales goals and expectations, track performance, and provide continuous coaching to enhance team skills.
    • Create and maintain a positive and motivating team environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients.
    • Handle escalations and ensure prompt resolution of any client-related issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of outbound sales experience, with at least 1.5 years in a leadership role, ideally in the EdTech or related industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Strong history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of accountability, motivation, and high performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the education technology (EdTech) space is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools, email outreach, and lead generation strategies.
