WLAN/MAC Engineer - VHDL/Verilog (12-18 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled WLAN MAC Engineer to join our team. As a WLAN MAC Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing MAC layer components for wireless communication systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development : Design and develop MAC layer components, including protocol stacks, scheduling algorithms, and error correction codes.

Performance Optimization: Optimize MAC layer performance, focusing on throughput, latency, and power consumption.

System Integration: Integrate MAC layer components with other system components, such as PHY layer and L2/L3 layers.

Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of MAC layer designs.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MAC layer functionality.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure

seamless integration.

Stay Updated: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in wireless technologies and industry standards.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in wireless communication systems.

- Strong understanding of WLAN standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).

- Proficiency in digital design and verification methodologies.

- Experience with CPU architecture, host interfaces (PCIe, SDIO, UART), and bus interconnects

(AXI/ACE/AHB/APB).

- Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL and scripting languages (Python, Perl).

- Experience with synthesis, timing analysis, and power optimization.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques for wireless communication.

- Knowledge of software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.

- Experience with wireless security protocols and standards.
