Team Leader - Innovation & Technology - Mining (7-15 yrs)

- Coverage and Managing pipeline of Global Technology mining underlying start-ups

- Preparing and maintaining knowledge databases like Fund universe, Investment evaluation framework

- Evaluating, Researching and Negotiating investments into VC funds and start-ups

- Active Monitoring of existing portfolio of VC funds and start-ups. Demonstrated expertise in techno-economic evaluation, particularly with early-stage technology startups.

- Strong background in technology due diligence, with a focus on feasibility analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.

- Knowledge of mining operations, industry challenges, and technology applications in the sector.

- Excellent project management and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide critical insights into technology viability and economic impacts.

- Proficiency in data analytics and technology assessment tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.

- Willingness to travel as needed for technology partner evaluations and onsite assessments.

Preferred:

- Experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment with a focus on technology startups.

- Professional certification or membership with relevant industry bodies.

- Understanding of sustainable mining practices and the digital transformation landscape in mining.
