Job Title: Platform Reliability Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Platform Reliability Engineer to support the architecture, development, and maintenance of core platform solutions for payer & biller-facing products. This role focuses on scalability, reliability, and security, leveraging agile principles, test-driven development, and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration Work with development, QA, and product teams for seamless integration and operations.
• Platform Maintenance – Assist in provisioning, maintaining, and supporting platform infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization – Analyze and enhance platform performance for efficiency and reliability.
• Incident Management – Conduct post-mortems to drive continuous improvement.
• Compliance & Security – Contribute to PCI, PADSS, SOC Type2, and SOX audit initiatives.
• Automation – Develop and maintain scripts/tools to improve operations and reduce manual work.
• Process Improvement – Recommend best practices to enhance software engineering reliability and resiliency.
• Innovation – Research and introduce new tools and services to improve productivity.

Who We Seek:

• 8+ years of experience in SaaS software development or operations, preferably in FinTech (banking, payments, lending).
• Expertise in Cloud Services (PaaS/IaaS), primarily Azure (experience with other cloud platforms is a plus).
• Proficiency in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Security best practices.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Kong/Nginx, Redis, AzureDB.
• Hands-on skills with IaC automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of SRE principles, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
