Senior Associate/Engagement Manager - Strategy Team

Role Summary:

- Work closely with the business leaders to craft and implement strategic plans for group business.

- Identify investment opportunities for the group and lead transactions from initiation to closure.

Job Description:

- Developing strategies for diverse businesses in the group and assist in seamless implementation to drive growth.

- Collaborate with business heads on new business initiatives and launch of new products and services.

- Conducting primary and secondary market research, analyse industry trends and competitive landscape to identify potential areas of growth & innovation and develop actionable insights.

- Prepare presentations, reports, financial models and analysis for leadership teams to aid data driven decision-making process.

- Evaluation of investment proposals and handling end-to-end activities for investments.

- Collaborate with the business teams for successful execution of transformational strategic initiatives.

- Provide support in strategic planning and AOP exercises for various group companies.

- Providing transaction advisory services across the group.

- Prepare investment collateral for executing fundraising assignments for group companies.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree from a Tier 1 college, preferably in Engineering, Business, CA/CFA or related field. Having an MBA degree is a plus.

- 5-7 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, PE/VC, corporate development, strategy roles or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Market sizing and research (primary and secondary research).

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
