Job Title : Senior Solution Architect SAP - SAP MM

Job Summary :

We are a conglomerate in construction (Civil, Oil & Gas, GTC, Marble, Carpentry, aluminum, glass, etc) along with related manufacturing (ready Mix Concrete, Blocks, aggregates), building materials trading, & material testing services since the last 40 year in Oman.

We are using SAP S4HANA 2023, along with SAP Cloud for Customer, SAP Arbia (Strategic Sourcing & Commerce Automation), and other Third-party applications integrated with S4HANA to drive and run our business.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Solution Architect SAP - SAP MM & ARIBA with a solid background in SAP MM (procurement, inventory, and materials planning), ARIBA (SLP, sourcing, and commerce automation), and Master Data Management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT initiatives related to business processes, specifically focusing on SAP MM and ARIBA systems along with other modules.

This role involves ensuring the effective implementation, support, and optimization of these systems to align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

IT Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement IT strategies and plans that align with business objectives and leverage SAP MM, ARIBA and other SAP capabilities.

- Collaborate with business units to understand their requirements and ensure IT solutions meet those needs effectively.

SAP MM and ARIBA Management :

- Oversee the implementation, customization, and ongoing support of SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

- Ensure that SAP MM and ARIBA modules are integrated effectively with other business applications and processes.

- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities for SAP MM and ARIBA.

Project Management :

- Manage IT projects related to SAP MM and ARIBA, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to drive project success.

Process Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within SAP MM and ARIBA.

- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of system requirements and changes.

Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effective use of SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

Data Management and Reporting :

- Oversee data integrity and accuracy within SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

- Generate and analyze reports to support business decision-making and performance monitoring.

Vendor and Resource Management :

- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to SAP MM and ARIBA.

- Oversee the allocation of IT resources and ensure they are utilized efficiently.

Risk Management and Compliance :

- Identify and manage IT risks associated with SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP certification, ITIL) is a plus.

Experience :

- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in IT management, with a strong focus on SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects and driving system enhancements.

Skills :

- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and ARIBA functionalities, processes, and best practices.

- Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, execution, and delivery.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

- Experience with data management and reporting.

Technical Proficiency :

- Proficiency in SAP MM and ARIBA systems.

- Familiarity with other SAP modules and enterprise applications is highly advantageous.

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration.
