Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust multi-tier applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Build and manage RESTful and SOAP web services for seamless application communication.
• Participate in requirement analysis, architectural discussions, and deliver high-quality designs.
• Lead the development and delivery of multiple application modules, guiding and mentoring a team of 5-10 developers.
• Ensure applications meet standards of high availability, security, and optimal performance.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing applications and systems for improved functionality.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all deliverables.
• Collaborate using tools like JIRA, SVN, and GIT for defect management and code versioning.

Must-Have Skills:

• Expertise in Core Java (Java 7/8/11), J2EE, Servlets, and JSP.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate/ORM, Struts, and Spring Framework.
• Experience developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency in design patterns, design principles, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
• Working knowledge of application servers like WebSphere and Tomcat.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.
• Exposure to PCI standards, OWASP guidelines, and secure coding best practices.
• Experience with JMS or EJB for messaging systems.
