Job Description: Embedded C++ Developer (Payment Devices) Bangalore

We are hiring a talented Embedded C++ Developer with experience in payment devices and hardware integration. If you are passionate about device-level programming and have expertise in C++ development, we want you to join our team!

Job Details:

• Position: Embedded C++ Developer (Payment Devices)
• Experience: 6+ Years
• Location: Bangalore
• CTC: As per market standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications for payment devices using C++ and Verifone OS.
• Work on device programming, including writing firmware-level code and performing cross-compilation for target environments.
• Handle integration of vendor libraries & APIs and release new firmware versions.
• Implement PCI and EMV certifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex multi-threaded environments.
• Ensure seamless interaction between POS terminals, payment devices, and backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of C++ programming, OOP concepts, and STL (Standard Template Library).
• Expertise in multi-threading, IPC, and working with complex 3rd-party APIs/libraries.
• Familiarity with RS232 and USB protocols.
• Experience with GIT, SVN, and good SDLC practices such as code reviews and versioning.
• Knowledge of security, cryptography APIs, and public key infrastructure (PKI).
• Experience with firmware development and device integration is highly preferred.
• Understanding of PCI, EMV certification, and the payment industry ecosystem is a plus.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Verifone OS and payment devices.
• Experience in C# or Java alongside C++ development.
• Understanding of Web Services (REST, SOAP) and related tools.
• Exposure to payment card industry standards and card brand certifications (e.g., VISA, MasterCard).
